For service providers

More elevators to service. Less chasing the work.

Building owners come to Maintenance on Demand when they can’t get a callback or need help with their elevators. We route those jobs to licensed, insured providers in the area — you set your price, you do the work, you get paid. No marketing spend, no lead fees.

We’re solving a building’s problem — and you’re how it gets solved

Too many buildings can’t get anyone to show up for a service call. Maintenance on Demand fixes that by connecting them with qualified local providers who will. We don’t pick the provider — the building does. You’re matched to jobs in your area, the building chooses who to hire, and when you show up and do good work, you get more of it.

Why providers join

  • Qualified jobs, not cold leads — real buildings with a real problem, ready to pay
  • You set your price — you quote the service call; the building decides. Like an HVAC call: a fee to come on site, parts and added work quoted separately
  • You keep 100% of your quote — the platform fee is paid by the building, never taken out of your pay
  • You get paid even if plans change — if a building cancels after you’ve committed, or you arrive and can’t get in, you’re still paid for your time
  • No marketing cost — the work comes to you
  • Free to join — no membership, no lead fees during our launch
  • Direct deposit after the job

How it works

  1. We match you to a job in your coverage area and send the details — the problem, the general location, and exactly what you’ll be paid.
  2. You accept and assign a technician. The building’s full details unlock and a private masked line connects you.
  3. You go on site — a standard service call is up to an hour to diagnose and handle what’s doable. Anything bigger (parts, larger repair) you quote separately, and the building approves before you proceed.
  4. You document the work and get paid — direct deposit, with the record synced to the building’s compliance file automatically.

What we require

To protect the buildings we serve, every provider is vetted before taking jobs:

  • Active state elevator contractor license
  • Current certificate of insurance
  • Years in business and the size of your team
  • The states and areas you cover

We verify your license and insurance before you’re approved — usually within 24–48 hours.

What we ask of you

  • Stick to your quote — no surprise charges; any added work goes through the building’s approval first
  • A 30-day warranty on parts and labor for work done through MoD
  • Keep it on the platform — communication and billing run through Maintenance on Demand

What it costs

Nothing to join. You keep your full quoted price on every job — the platform fee is paid by the building, not deducted from you.

FAQ

Do I set my own prices?

Yes. You quote the service call and any additional work; the building decides. We never set your price.

Do I have to compete on price alone?

No. Buildings choose on rating, experience, availability and price — responsive, quality work wins the repeat jobs.

What if the building cancels or I can’t get in?

If you’ve committed and they cancel, or you arrive and can’t access the elevator, you still get paid for your time.

Do I have to front my own money for parts?

For bigger repairs, there’s a deposit structure that protects you before you order. We walk you through it during onboarding.
