Too many buildings can’t get anyone to show up for a service call. Maintenance on Demand connects them with licensed local contractors. We don’t pick the provider; the building does. Show up, do good work, and buildings will want you back.

How it works

1. A building in your coverage area requests service, and we send you the details: the problem, the general location, and the job terms.
2. You accept and assign a technician, and we share the building’s contact details so you can coordinate.
3. You go on site to diagnose and handle what’s doable on the call. Anything bigger, like parts or a larger repair, you quote separately, and the building approves before you proceed.
4. You document the work and get paid.

What we require

Before you take requests, we collect and check:

• Your active state elevator contractor license
• Your current certificate of insurance
• Years in business and the size of your team
• The states and areas you cover

We check your license and insurance before you’re approved, usually within 24 to 48 hours.

What we ask of you

• Stick to your quote: no surprise charges. Any added work goes through the building’s approval first.
• Keep it on the platform: communication and billing run through Maintenance on Demand.

What it costs

Nothing to join. You keep your full quoted price on every job. The platform fee is paid by the building, not taken from you.

Do I have to compete on price alone?

No. Buildings choose based on experience, availability and price. Responsive, quality work earns repeat requests.

Do I have to front my own money for parts?

We’ll go over how parts and larger repairs are handled during onboarding.
